Kaipo Lee, 61, of Hilo, a retired investigator for the state, Honolulu Prosecutor's Office and 1st Circuit Court and a Navy veteran, died at home. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Melanie A., son Kaipokai, mother Gloria J., daughters Melisa-Andria Dias, Marcella Kalehua and Dannielle Pilialoha; brother Lono J.; sisters Nani Ann Lee and Kehau Bulhom; and 11 grandchildren. Celebration of life: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the family residence, 2048 Hale Hooka St. Burial: 9:30 a.m. Monday at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2, Hilo. Casual attire.
