Darol N. Kaolowi, 63, of Papaaloa, Hawaii, a BEI Hawaii-Kona employee, mechanic for the former Hamakua Sugar Co. and an Army veteran, died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Laupahoehoe, Hawaii. He is survived by stepson Jim P. Okada, stepdaughters Darlene Chang and Jasmine Urasaki, sister Yolanda and two step-grandchildren. Visitation: 4 p.m. Sunday at Dodo Mortuary chapel. Services: 5 p.m. Graveside committal services: noon Monday at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Casual attire. No flowers.
