She is survived by daughters, Melinda (James) Nishimura, Barbara (Derek) Soma; brothers, James Moniz of Hilo, Robert (Mary) Moniz of Hilo, Eugene (Tani) Moniz, George (Vicky) Moniz of Idaho; sister, Dorothy Ventura; daughter, Mary Ventura; step-daughters, Rosemarie Mason, Alice Porlas; 14 grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, & cousins.
