Wilfred "Da Bear" Moniz, 62, of Waianae, a Navy veteran, died in Waianae. He was born in Makawao, Maui. He is survived by wife Ginger M.; sons Wilfred "Boy," Shane, Chad and Sheldon; brothers Steven, Abel, Robert and Sam; sister Babina "Sista" Mahiai; and 11 grandchildren. Visitation: 5:30 p.m. Friday at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, mauka chapel. Services: 7 p.m.
