Masae Kusano, 101, of Hilo, a homemaker, died in Hale Anuenue Restorative Care Center. She was born in Olaa, Hawaii. She is survived by son Minoru; daughter Jane Hale; brothers Fumio and Toshio Nakamura; sister Janet Onuma; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
