James Cooke "Kimo" Palakiko Sr., 81, of Honolulu, a Kalihi-Waena Elementary School custodian, died in Portland, Ore. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by son James "Kimo" Jr., and daughters Howardlynn Sivaivai and Hattie Foster.
