Yasuo Okinaka, 87, of Wailuku, a retired Paia post office postmaster and an Army first sergeant in charge of Company L, 442nd Regimental Combat Team, died in Hale Makua, Kahului. He was born in Hana, Maui. He is survived by sons Calvin and John, brother Tsuneyo, sister Kiyoko Saito and three grandchildren. Visitation: 3 p.m. Tuesday at Kahului Union Church. Services: 4 p.m. Burial: noon Wednesday at Maui Veterans Cemetery.
