FAMILY PLACED OBITUARY

Evelyn Sachiko Ono
EVELYN SACHIKO ONO Evelyn S. Ono passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, September 19. She was born on April 10, 1933 in Honolulu and graduated from McKinley High School. She faithfully served for 35 years with her husband Lt. General (Ret.) Allen Ono in the U.S. Army and was an active and passionate volunteer in the Merrie Ladies of the Aloha Chapter, Military Officers Association of America, and Kapi'olani Craft Volunteers. She is survived by her husband and sons, Dr. Craig Ono, his wife, Claire Ono, and granddaughters, Caryn, Caitlin and Christianne of Wahiawa and Dr. Curtis Ono, his wife, Wendy Nakatsukasa-Ono and grandson, Alex Ono of Seattle. She is also survived by her three brothers, Mr. James, George and Stanley Masaki and their families. She was preceded in death by her father, Mr. Toyoichi Masaki and mother, Mrs. Hanako Masaki. Visitation on Sunday, October 10 at noon and memorial service at 1:00 p.m. at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. She will be privately laid to rest at Punchbowl National Memorial Cemetery.
