FAMILY PLACED OBITUARY

Peter Alexander Ross
Williams Funeral Services PETER ALEXANDER ROSS Was born July 16, 1943 at Kapiolani Maternity Hospital. His parents were so proud; they named him after his God-Father, Sir Peter Buck, from New Zealand. Peter grew up in Kailua on Kalaheo Avenue. The front yard was right on Kailua Beach. He and his younger sister, Bernie loved the beach life. Peter graduated from Punahou School in 1962. After graduation he went to California for a year to attend Foothill Junior College. Peter returned to Oahu and turned his great love of automobiles into a career when he began selling cars. He sold Volkswagens, Mercedes, Jaguars, Maseratis, and other exotic vehicles. Peter not only sold many cars, but owned probably just as many. He owned his first car at the age of 10. He drove it around Kailua carrying his sister, Bernie, around in the passenger seat. Peter LOVED cars! Peter married Sharon Conant in January 1969 and moved to Maui later that year. In 1973, his darling Brandy, was born. He was the happiest man alive. In 1983, Peter and Brandy moved to Oahu and lived in Nuuanu with his mother, May, after his father "Danda" passed away. After a few years, Peter and Brandy moved to Kailua where Peter liked to hit golf balls across the canal. Brandy woud dutifully get in the inflatable row boat and paddle across to retrieve the balls for him. A year later they moved to Kaimalu Place in Kaneohe. Peter loved it's island style "Dicky" roof and enjoyed sharing his home entertaining friends and family. In 1991 Peter returned to the house in Nuuanu where Peter could more closely care for his mother, May. As her health deteriorated, Peter became her care-taker. He stayed by her side for 8 years until she passed away on March 2, 2009. He was a loving dedicated son. Peter is survived by his daughter Brandy-Alicia Kehaulani Ross (Danny Maalouf) of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, sister Bernice-May (Douglas) Fernandez of Honokaa Mauka, and niece & God-daughter Danielle Wainani Gay of Kailua. Peter was a wonderful and loving father, brother & son. He is missed very much by family and friends. Peter was laid to rest in his family plot at Oahu Cemetery on July 23rd. Donations in his memory may be made to The American Lung Association and Punahou School.

Our deepest condolences to the family and friends of the deceased
