Joei Irei, 93, of Honolulu, a retired Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard carpenter and Army veteran, died at home. He was born in Waiakea, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Clara, sons Wayne and Steven, daughters Lorraine Irei and Lois Iwasaki, nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Private services.
