Toma Tasaki, 102, of Honolulu, a state Department of Education district superintendent and a World War II Army veteran who served with the Military Intelligence Service in India and Burma, died. He was born in Waimea, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Matsue, son Thomas, daughter Susan and three grandchildren. Visitation: 9:30 a.m. Friday at Borthwick Mortuary. Services: 10:30 a.m. Burial: 1 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe.
