Ruth Leinaala Solomon, 82, of Hilo, a piano teacher, died in Hilo Medical Center. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by sons Michael Chu and Richard Biven; daughters Linda Leach, Gloria Biven and Diane Bliss; brother Albert K. Jr.; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Private services.
