83Virgil Lewis Gettman, 89, of Honolulu, a retired Otis Elevator Co. employee, died at home. He was born in Indiana. He is survived by stepsons Levi M. Perkins Jr. and Albert J.K. Perkins III, stepdaughters Robertha P. Garcia and Vivian A. Purdy, brother Frederick, sisters Martha Hoban and Ethel Irwin, caregiver Jessie Conceocap-Tabilang, 18 step-grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. No services.
