John Spencer, 87, of Honolulu, a retired aircraft mechanic at Hickam Air Force Base and an Army veteran who served in World War II, died at home. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Mary C.; sons Nelson, Randall and Kevin; sister Katherine Letson; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Visitation: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Diamond Head Mortuary Chapel. Eulogy: 11 a.m. Services: noon. Graveside services: 12:45 p.m. at Diamond Head Memorial Park. Casual attire. No flowers.
