FRANCES HELENA LUM AIONA
Age 93, of Pearl City, Hawaii, passed away November 23, 2010 in Pearl City. Born September 28, 1917 in Honolulu, Hawaii. A life long educator, tutor, volunteer, Grama commanded excellence from her students. An avid golfer, reader, Korean drama lover, our fashionable & fiesty Grama, will be remembered for stength & independence.
She is survived by sons, Earl (Arlene) Ah Moo, James R. (Vivian) Aiona, Jr.; daughters, Roberta M. (Creighton) Richards, Jamie H. (Leslie) Omori; brothers, William (Esther) Lum, Thomas (Rita) Lum; sisters, Dora Kaikainohaole, Ella Young, Mildred Lau; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation 9:30 a.m. Wednesday (December 8) at Resurrection Of The Lord Catholic Church (94-1260 Lumikula St., Waipahu); Mass 11:00 a.m. Burial 1:00 p.m. at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery. Aloha Attire. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Reid J.K. Richards Foundations.
