Sang Kyung Kim, 79, of Honolulu, a state Department of Human Services employee and an Army veteran who served in the Korean War, died in St. Francis Hospice-West. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by son Rueben, daughter Melanie, brothers John and Song Ho, sister Elsie Ponzo and two grandchildren. Visitation: 10 a.m. Thursday at Moanalua Mortuary. Services: 10:30 a.m. Burial: 1 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe. Casual attire.
