Raymond Peter "Titang" Hesapene, 88, of Kekaha, Kauai, a Kekaha Sugar Plantation heavy equipment operator and an Army veteran who served in World War II with the 1st and 2nd Filipino Regiment, died in Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital. He was born in Aiea. He is survived by sons Milling Jr., Wayne and Alexander Canon Sr., and Raymond Jr. and Peter Hesapene; daughters Shiela, Cynthia and Linda Canon, and Cecelia Swartzmiller; 21 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great- grandchildren. Visitation: 11:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Theresa Catholic Church. Mass: 1 p.m. Burial to follow at Kauai Veterans Cemetery, Hanapepe. Casual attire.
