Edward "Butchie" Ryan Jr., 72, of Pearl City, a Navy veteran, died in Pali Momi Medical Center. He was born in Hawaii. He is survived by son Edward "Cooke," daughter Mandine "Nalani" "Dee" Goard, brother Patrick, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Visitation: 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at Borthwick Mortuary, makai chapel. Services: 6:30 p.m. Burial: 10 a.m. Thursday at Hawaiian Memorial Park.
