George Keoki Kaena Soares, 82, of Mililani, a retired Army sergeant first class and a retired U.S. customs inspector, died. He was born in Mokuleia. He is survived by wife Dorothy L.; sons Everett Rosario and Tay Sr. and Erwin Soares; daughters Georgia Naputi and Celeste Soares; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Friday at Liliuokalani Protestant Church, Haleiwa. Services: 10:30 a.m. Burial: 2 p.m. at Schofield Post Cemetery.
