Raymond “Ray” F. Rosa
RAYMOND "RAY" F. ROSA Raymond F. Rosa, known to many as Ray, 89, of Kailua, died on November 25, 2010 at Castle Hos-pital. Ray was born on July 8, 1921 in Pauoa to parents John F. Rosa and Laurinda Andrade Rosa. His family resided in Pauoa and then finally in Saint Louis Heights. The Rosa family owned the Krispy Krust Bakery from 1930 to early 1950's. He graduated from Saint Louis High School in 1940 and was the captain of his basketball team. He was employed for thirty years at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard retiring at age 56. He enjoyed playing tennis and golf as well as spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Genevieve (Jenny) Brilhante Rosa and his three daughters, Roz (Joe) Edwards, Pamela (Denver) Webb and Jennifer Noel along with four grandchildren, Kristen Edwards Michaud, Brad Edwards, Michelle Webb Ishida and Niko Noel. He also has three great grandchildren, Nikolas Michaud, Rachael Michaud and Noah Ishida. He will be remembered for his positive spirit, love of sports and politics and most of all his patient love and dedication to his family. He was a shining example of a true Christian with a heart of gold. He will be missed by all. Celebration of Life to be on Friday December 17th at 10:00 at Hope Chapel Kaneohe, 45-815 Pookela St., Kaneohe, HI. Committal Services to follow at Punchbowl Cemetery at 11:30. Aloha attire. No flowers please.
