Masami Ohara, 90, of Honolulu, a retired structural engineer with Ben Lum and Associates and an Army veteran who served in World War II with the 442nd Infantry, Cannon Company, died. He was born in Ewa. He is survived by wife June M.; sons Justin and Bryan; daughters Arlene Hirata and Iris Ohara; brothers Walter H. and Earl F.; sisters Gladys H. Shirai, Hilda M. Ohara and Lillian Y. Shimabukuro; and four grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Friday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Services: 10 a.m. Inurnment to follow at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl. Aloha attire. No flowers.
