77Asayo Shimada, 82, of Hanapepe, Kauai, a Kauai Electric secretary, died in Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital. She was born in Makaweli, Kauai. She is survived by husband Calvin, son Kelly, sister Takeyo Saito and two grandchildren. Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday at First United Church of Christ, Hanapepe. No monetary offerings. Donations suggested to charity.
