Kiyoko Kubota, 88, of Kapaa, Kauai, sole proprietor of Pono Market, died in Wilcox Memorial Hospital. She was born in Koloa, Kauai. She is survived by sons Jerry, Allan, Kenneth and Bobbie; daughters Eunice Olivas, Bernice Hashimoto and Joyce Kaneshiro; hanai son Mike Teruya; hanai daughter Joanne Davila; brothers Stanley Uyechi, Sadao Uechi, and Marvin and Paul Yamauchi; 18 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Jan. 8 at Kapaa Missionary Church. Services: 10:30 a.m.
