Salem T. Simon Jr., 79, of Puhi, Kauai, a retired Army master sergeant, died at home. He was born in San Antonio. He is survived by wife Gail A., former wife Tiney, son Salem T. III, daughter Stefanie T., a grandchild and a great-grandchild. Visitation: 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Lihue United Church. Services: 10 a.m. No flowers. Donations suggested to Kauai Hospice.
