THOMAS "BOLO" A. ORTOGERO, SR.
Age 84 of Pearl City, Hawaii, passed away December 27, 2010 in Honolulu. He was born September 20, 1926 in Honolulu, Hawaii. Thomas was a retired Plumber; World War II veteran; former VFW Commander (3 terms), and distinguished gold medal rifleman. He was also in the Hawaii Army National Guard.
He is survived by his wife, Bernice Arruda Ortogero; sons, Thomas (Kristine) Ortogero, Jr. of Hilo, Brian (Kathleen) Ortogero of Maui; daughters, Cassandra Ortogero-Pang, Darlene (Peter) Canyon; sisters, Cecilia Palaroan, Lucy Genobaga; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation 8:00 a.m. Friday (January 7) at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church (1525 Waimano Home Rd., Pearl City); Mass 11:00 a.m. Committal Service 1:00 p.m. at National Cemetery of The Pacific at Punchbowl.
