Wan Cheng Chiu, 91, of Honolulu, a meteorology professor for the University of Hawaii at Manoa, died in Kirkland, Wash. He was born in Meihsien, Guangdong, China. He is survived by wife Margaret; daughters Linda, Ellen and Elaine; and four grandchildren. Celebration of life: 9 a.m. Saturday at Nuuanu Memorial Park & Mortuary. Services: 10 a.m. Private burial.
