Charles Kolowailani "Charlie Boy" Shimada, 29, of Kahului died in Wailuku. He was born on Maui. He is survived by wife Joella Kaluau, son Josiah K. Kaluau-Shimada, daughters Jordyn R. "Pookie" Kaluau-Shimada and Moani-Keala Shimada, hanai son Kapono Gaspar, mother Kathy, brother Arnot K. Meyer and sister Missy "Tita" Meyer. Visitation: 9 a.m. tomorrow at St. Anthony Church, Wailuku. Mass: 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
