Masaru Hiyane, 89, of Honolulu, a retired operations inspector for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, died. He was born in Kapaa, Kauai. He is survived by wife Elsie T., sons Milton M. and Keith K., and a grandchild. Visitation: 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Services: 6:30 p.m. Cremation to follow. Aloha attire.
