Izuo "Frank" Kaku, 87, of Honokaa, Hawaii, a Hamakua Sugar Co. retiree and Army veteran, died in a private care home. He was born in Honaunau, Hawaii. He is survived by sons Grant Kaku and Jamie Iwasaki, brothers James and Donald, and sisters Tomie Katano and Anna Asano. Visitation: 9 a.m. Friday at Dodo Mortuary Chapel, Hilo. Services: 10 a.m. Casual attire.
