Blanche Kuuipo Nihipali Torres, 61, of Mountain View, Hawaii, a certified nurse's aide, dental assistant, home health aide and foster mother, died at home. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by husband Samuel F.; sons John Nihipali Sr. and Samuel II, James, Derek and Aaron Torres; daughter Miulan Nihipali; hanai son Pelekona Ray Burks; hanai daughters Claudia, Mary and Davelyn "Mushie" Torres; mother Eleanor H. Nihipali; brothers Charles Jr. and Vincent Sr. Nihipali; sisters Sharlene Nihipali-Rodrigues and Eleanor "Leilani" Nihipali; and eight grandchildren. Visitation: 9:45 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hawi. Mass: 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Halawa Catholic Cemetery. Aloha attire.
