Howard Masanobu "Nobu" Chibana, 69, of Honolulu, a retired assistant accountant at First Insurance Co. of Hawaii Ltd. and an Army veteran, died. He was born in Makawao, Maui. He is survived by brother Masayuki Nohara and sisters Jane S. Agena, Joyce H. Kong, Jeanne Y. Takahashi, Carole Y. Fukuda and Lucille S. Araki. Visitation: 3 p.m. Saturday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary.
