Robert Henry Niebeling, 79, of Waianae, an audiovisual worker with the federal government and an Army retiree, died in Honolulu. He was born in Lake City, Minn. He is survived by wife Laverne; sons Robert Niebeling Jr. and Jere, Baba and Nate Kalima; daughters Mary Jane Shelby, Charlotte Feliciano and Kimi Hina; brothers Gerald, Jim and Davis; sisters Evelyn Doerr and Margaret Books; 17 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Burial: 11 a.m. Monday at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe. Additional information for an obituary published yesterday.
