William "Bill" Castro, 92, of Honolulu, a retired civil service worker at Fort Shafter and an Army veteran, died at home. He was born in Hakalau, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Elizabeth A.; sons William "Bill," Allan and Glenn; brothers Wendell, Leslie and Clyde; sisters Bernice Gannon, Emogene Pacheco and Bernadine Lovewell; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Visitation: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of the Mount Church. Mass: 11:30 a.m. Burial: 1 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe. Aloha attire.
