72William Soares Sr., 86, of Waianae, a retired Pearl Harbor Public Works Center employee, died in Waianae. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by sons William Jr. and Gregory, daughters Darlene Calamayan and Doreen Blaine, sisters Elizabeth Castro and Elsie Gouveia, five grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
