81Takemitsu "Nick" Nakata, 77, of Kaneohe, a retired Continental Airlines aircraft mechanic, died in Kailua. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Shirley; daughters Shari and Nancy; brothers Edwin and Lawrence; sisters Nobuko Nakano, Suemi Nakata, Amy Ballard and Rose Kelley; and two grandchildren. Private services.
