George Sadayoshi Yamamoto, 80, of Honolulu, a retired federal government communication specialist and Army veteran, died at home. He was born in Naalehu, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Yoko; sons Gregory, Allen and Derek; daughters Karen Powell and Dale Skeen; sisters Lily Tanaka, Laura Suzuki and May Yu; and six grandchildren. Private services.
