SOPHIE G. TRANILLA 81, passed away on Jan. 5, 2011 in Las Vegas where she resided. A very caring and loving person, she touched the lives of many people. A talented and highly traveled independent woman, she gave of herself and to others without reservations. Sophie retired in 1989 as a Physical Therapy Technician. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Richard S Tranilla and is survived by her sons Rico of Seattle, Tom (Vicky) of Seattle, and Pat (Sharyl) of Pearl City, sister Maggie Chung-Hoon (Paul) of Kona, Hawaii, 7 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. Private services was held at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific.
