Mitsuo "Mits" Shimizu, 83, of Honolulu, a retired real estate appraiser and an Army veteran, died in the Queen's Medical Center. He was born in Honokaa, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Jeanette K.; sons John, Dr. David and Daniel; daughter Cynthia Nakamura; sister Shizuko Kanemoto; and nine grandchildren. Private services.
