He loved being outdoors; an all star soccer player. He enjoyed the beach and golf. He graduated from McKendree College on a soccer scholarship. He is survived by hanai father, Purdy Keohokapu; mother, Barbara Keohokapu; parents, William and Patricia Essner of Texas; sister, Sharon Anderson (Jack); brother, Daniel Essner (Evelyn); 3 nephews; 1 grandniece. Visitation 5:30 p.m. Wednesday (February 16) at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel; Funeral Service 6:30 p.m. Casual Attire.
