Kahachi Wakimoto, 88, of Kokoiki, Kohala, Hawaii, a retired Chevron of Hawaii salesman and an Army veteran and member of the 442nd Regimental Combat Team, Company H, died at home. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by son Lester, daughters Leatrice Ono and Linda Tengan, four grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Visitation: 3 p.m. Sunday at Kohala Hongwanji Mission. Services: 4 p.m. Casual attire. No flowers. No monetary offerings.
