Age 84, of Waialua, Hawaii, passed away January 28, 2011 in Wahiawa. Born December 2, 1926 in #5 San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. Retired worker at Waialua Sugar. He enjoyed fishing and growing vegetables.
He is survived by wife, Virginia Garo; sons, Rogelio (Emmy) Garo, Jerry (Rose) Garo, Peter (Lori) Garo; daughter, Arlene (Randy) Ranada; brother, Rizal (Flora) Garo; step-sons, Danny Garo, Gilbert Garo; 7 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; 1 step-grandson; numerous nephews and nieces.
Visitation 5:30 p.m. Wednesday (February 23) at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel; Wake Service 6:00 p.m. Visitation also 9:00 a.m. Thursday (February 24) at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel; Funeral Service 10:00 a.m. Burial 11:00 a.m. at Mililani Memorial Park. Casual Attire. Flowers Welcome.
