Elizabeth Buffalano, 93, of Honolulu, a Pu'umaile Hospital nurse on the Onomea Sugar Plantation on the Big Island and an Army veteran who served during World War II, died. She was born in Nevada City, Calif. She is survived by daughter Bianca. Committal services: 10 a.m. Friday at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe. Donations suggested to Hawaii Hospice.
