80Federico G. "Ikong" Garo, 84, of Waialua, a Waialua Sugar retiree, died in Wahiawa. He was born in San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. He is survived by wife Virginia; sons Rogelio, Jerry and Peter; daughter Arlene Ranada; stepsons Danny and Gilbert; brother Rizal; seven grandchildren; a stepgrandchild; and a great-grandchild. Visitation: 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, mauka chapel. Services: 6 p.m. Additional visitation: 9 a.m. Thursday at the chapel.
