Luong Dai Tran, 84, of Honolulu died in Hawaii Medical Center East. He was born in China. He is survived by wife Lai Thi Chiem; sons Xia Xuan, Hung Chi and Steven Cai Tran, and Ty Van and Be Van Chiem; daughters Trinh To Tran, Quyen Ngoc Dang-Tran and Cam Xuan Chiem; 16 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Vietnamese Buddhist services: 8 to 11 a.m. tomorrow at Nuuanu Memorial Park & Mortuary. Burial: 11:30 a.m. at Valley of the Temples.
