Helen Sueko Takeshita age 76, of Honolulu was called home to be with the LORD on February 6, 2011, surrounded by her children and loved ones. Member of New Hope Christian Fellowship. She was born on December 3, 1934 in Waialua, Oahu. Mom's Golden Heart
God saw you were getting tired
and a cure was not meant to be.
So he put his arms around you
and whispered, "Come with me."
With tearful eyes we watched you
being called home to be
with the Lord.
Although we loved you deeply,
we could not make you stay.
Your golden heart stopped beating,
hard-working hands at rest.
God broke our hearts to
prove to us
he only takes the best.
She is survived by 5 sons: Ray (Joann), Richard, Wayne, Craig (Angela), Keith; 4 daughters: Iris (Greg) Lee, JoAnn Takeshita, Lori (Jesse) Kaneshige, Lynn (Mark) Yamada; 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; 4 brothers: Kenneth, Richard, Paul, and James Sonobe; 2 sisters: Ethel Tanaka, and Evelyn Nakahira; Nieces and Nephews.
March 5, Saturday. Visitation and fellowship at 10 A.M. Celebration of Life at 11 A.M. New Hope Christian Fellowship, 290 Sand Island Access Road. Casual attire.
