Ray Salazar, 72, of Kahului, a retired Maui High School social studies teacher and a Navy veteran, died in Maui Memorial Medical Center. He was born in Olaa, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Pauline; sons Kirk, Sean and Ikaika; brothers George Salazar and Alfred Bumanglag; sisters Violet Taboniak and Emily Watanabe; and four grandchildren. Private services.
