74James Shigeo Shibata, 89, of Honolulu, a retired Internal Revenue Service revenue agent, died in the Queen's Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Harriet, sons Vernon and Erwin, brother Paul and six grandchildren. Private services.
