Lealofisa M. Aetonu Hisatake, age 88, passed away Feb. 28th in Kailua Kona, HI. Born April 4, 1922 in Pago Pago, American Samoa to Savelio & Paeai Loa Aetonu. She was employed as a Pantry Chef at Pearl Harbor Shipyard Officers Mess and Pearl City Tavern, and a Handy Van Aide. Member of the Sacred Hearts Women's Society. She was the best mother, housewife, cook hostess and loved to play her uke & sing, and she was the family historian. Greatest wife to Jack J. Hisatake (deceased); mother to 4 sons, Gilbert (Erin), Jack P. (Leila), Joseph (Gay) & Lengi; one daughter, Clara Ann Pai Hisatake Cox (deceased); 10 grandchildren; Tanya, Leah, Amber, Shanon, Kyle, Sean, Michael, Ryan, Klyn, and Joey; 4 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers; Fouvale, Valelio Aetonu and Mika Paulo. Services Monday, March 14 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (2324 Omilo Lane in Kalihi). Mass at 8:00 am. Ashes to be intered at Diamond Head Cemetery at 1:00 pm. Casual Attire.
