George Kamai "Boogie" Kalama Jr., 66, of Keaau, Hawaii, a musician, composer, entrepreneur and member of the first crew of the Hokule'a, died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by sons George K. III and Noheaikaika T.K. "Ikaika"; daughters Puananai P. "Nani" Kalama and Adrienne M. Kazarian; sisters Leina'ala K. Heine, Rosie K. Lum and Doreen U. Kalama; and 10 grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Saturday at Makaha Beach. Services: 11:30 a.m. Additional visitation: 9 a.m. March 19 at Pohoiki Beach, Hawaii. Services: 10 a.m. Aloha attire.
