Hazel N. Tanigawa, 70, of Lanai City, a retired restaurant manager for S & T Properties in Lanai City, died at home. She was born in Lanai City. She is survived by sons Richard Jr., Rodney and Ryan Masada; daughter Robyn Kaneakua; stepson Daryl; stepdaughter Vanessa; mother Bertha Maioho; brothers Russell and Harvey Maioho; sister Maude Sato; and five grandchildren. Services: 10 a.m. Saturday at Lanai Recreation Center (old bowling alley). Scattering of ashes and luncheon to follow. Aloha or casual attire. Flowers welcome.
